Description
Design CMOS and bipolar based analog switch products for the ultra-portable applications market. Daily interface with product definition and FAEs to determine product feasibility while definition phase of project is on-going. Consult and interact with characterization and test personnel to characterize the device and develop production test solutions. Work directly with process development to define new technologies and process flows specific to switch product line needs. Design and simulation of products and oversee mask design. Capable of developing application-specific architectures and patents. Ability and willingness to provide direct customer support and consultation.

Experience/Skills
Working Knowledge of:
ESD testing
audio, video, USB, and HDMI/DVI interfaces
device physics
Experience with Cadence is preferable.

Ten years or comparable post-education experience in IC analog circuit design at the Principal or Staff Engineering level. Fab Processing experience and a broad range of design experience(Power or Mixed Signal Amplifier design experience or Analog Switch experience, HDMI. USB, I2C, ESD, Layout experience). Knowledge of ESD testing is also beneficial as you will be involved in designing and developing circuits for enhanced ESD protection. A working knowledge of device physics and ability to interface with fab personnel on a technical level is necessary. Specific application knowledge of audio, video, USB, and HDMI/DVI interfaces is beneficial and experience with Cadence Design Tools is preferred.
Education
BSEE with 9 years Engineering experience including 5 years Design experience OR MSEE with 7 years Engineering experience including 4 years Design experience.
