Description
Candidate will support algorithm development/analysis/debug for wireless air interface design as well as implement wireless air interface and physical layer components, sub-systems, and systems in a simulation environment.
* Candidate is required to participate in physical layer component design; algorithm design and debug.
* Candidate must be able to work independently on algorithm and modeling design efforts.
* Required to design modem component models and participate in planning for projects.
* Must implement component models and test benches.
* Candidate will define tests for component model verification as well as support verification of component models and implement akgorithm designs in floating-point.
* Candidate will participate in fixed-point analysis/optimization.
* Adherence to processes and modeling guidelines, collaboration with implementation group, and participation in component reviews required.
* Must maintain a working knowledge of current and new technologies.
* Travel to other locations as needed.
* Wireless Air Interface Systems Design, Algorithm/System Analysis, Design and Modeling required.df-tc

Experience/Skills
* 5+ years experience in wireless/signal processing algorithm design.
* 5+ years epxerience with systems and wireless simulation.
* 5+ years experience with Matlab/Simulink/SPW simulation enviornment implementation.
* Experience with implementation is desirable, including fixed point algorithm analysis.
* Familiarity with 3GPP, 802.11 standards is desirable.
* MS in Electrical Engineering with emphasis on wireless communications.
