• Design, develop and support retail trading applications, infrastructure and batch scripts
• Troubleshoot, respond and prevent production issues
• Champion the innovation to differentiate products to provide superior user experience
• Work in team environment to build scalable and robust software Under Unix environment
• Learn Brokerage business and understand the intricacies of trading, order flow and offline batch scripts
• Quicklycome up to speed in E*Trade development environment, releaseengineering and change control to be able to contribute effectively
• Provide technical leadership and innovation for projects that span across multiple teams
• Design, development, and sustaining of retail brokerage software development for trading related components

• 5 years of experience in building scalable high available Web applications and infrastructure
• Strong working knowledge in Unix, C/C+ + , Scripting languages such as Perl, Python
• Strongsystem knowledge with the ability to understand business requirementsand translate into scalable and modular design and implement them
• Experience in software engineering methodologies, release engineering
• Working knowledge in databases, SQL programming, Web services, and Java/JSP
• Internet security awareness, UI, Session management
• Ability to present, defend and take constructive feedback on the design, code reviews
• Communication skills to articulate the work and proactively take steps to provide reliable work
• Ability to work under time crunch for operational issues due to criticality of real time business
• Abilityto work well in team environment and have some level of projectmanagement and technical coordination skills working with globallylocated teams.
• Bachelor s degree in Computer science or other field with experience in software design. Master degree is a plus.
