The incumbent uses advanced experience for J2EE Web developer to participate in the design, implementation and support of Java Web Applications running in a Unix environment. The candidate must be experience with the complete development life cycle and have a least five years of professional experience developing Java based Web Applications in a Unix environment using J2EE technology and Servlets, as well as HTML, JavaScript, CSS and HTTP protocols. The incumbent must also be proficient in SQL (DB2 preferred) and have a working knowledge of Unix Shell commands (AIX),Websphere 5 Applications Server architecture, WSAD or Eclipse development platforms, Perl and Unix shell scripting JSP, DHTML, STRUTS, JSTL and XML is a plus. The candidate should exhibit excellent communication skills and a proficiency in MS Office Tools.

Advanced competency in all processes involved in systems analysis and use of appropriate tools for resolution, including design factors, hardware and software requirements, and system facilities/environment.
