Description
Substation Engineer - Physical Design

Education: Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering or directly related work experience is preferred.

Job Purpose: Perform the design and layouts of substations and switchyards, as well as other assigned engineering projects.

Duties include: Develop detailed design deliverables for switchyards and substations including one line diagrams, three line diagrams, bills of material, circuit schedules and equipment lists.
Applicant must be a resourceful self-starter able to work both independently and in a team environment with minimal supervision. Must have good communications skills a proactive attitude and be open to occasional travel. Applicant must have 5+ years experience in substation physical design.
AutoCAD and Microstation required.df-tc
