SMARTSOURCE is looking for a Summit and Globes System Administrator for a permanent opportunity in NY, NY

Salary range : $90k- $100k
Location: water street near battery park
Candidate needs to be a US Citizen or a Green card holder


Primary Responsibility of this Position:

The incumbent is responsible for the system administration. In addition to daily support of both systems, the incumbent will also responsible for all software maintenance, upgrade and any services pack necessary. The incumbent is responsible to insure that the operation group gets help need to troubleshoot any issues with nightly batch. The incumbent reports to the Business Application and Support manager and coordinates his efforts with other operations staff, network operations, and desktop support groups.


Key Position Responsibilities:

??? Managing users
??? Perform database maintenance to insure performance and stability.
??? Perform server administration for both systems.
??? Help Client Services troubleshoot client software issues and serve as second level support
??? Perform system upgrades, installation on DR site, services packs as necessary for both systems.
??? Help users to use all the features of both systems to maximize the ROI.
??? Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Core Competencies / Job Factors:

??? Solid system administration experience.
??? Solid MS SQL Server database administration skills.
??? Experience with hardware configuration, installation, upgrade, and troubleshooting.
??? Good customer service ethics and interactive skills
??? Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Education / Experience Needed to Perform Job:

Bachelor???s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
2-5 years experience with Windows based Server Operating System and MS SQL database
2-5 years experience with Summit
1-2 years experience with Treasury Workstation (Globes)
