Supply Chain Data Analyst - Excel, Access, Data Analysis, Model

Based in beautiful Downey, CA, we are a leading provider of warehousing, transportation, and supply chain managements solutions. We are currently looking to hire for a FT/Permanent Supply Chain Solutions Analyst to join our team.

Responsibilities will include: supporting new client implementations, performing customer profile and supply chain network analysis, learning and supporting various production systems, and delivering ad hoc projects as designated. This position requires an understanding of core supply chain business processes and the ability to bridge these requirements with the technology that will be deployed to support them.

Work with the client to effectively gather business requirements and manage client expectations.
Provide analysis and modelling support for supply chain network optimization. Responsible for continuous evolution of network modelling processes and approach.
Present supply chain network studies to internal and external audiences
Work closely with sales team to develop pricing, deployment and logistics site implementation plans
Work with data sets and provide detailed analysis using spreadsheet or database tools. Analyze data and prepare reports for executive decision support.
Data mining using MS Access and other query tools for plan building, tracking and analysis
Manages tasks that may go between departments or cross-functional teams for each individual client project.
Act as a liaison between the warehouse operations, client solutions and information technology teams.
Manage multiple projects concurrently.

Must Have Skills:
1.) 2-5 years of professional experience doing data analysis, data manipulation, and building highly variable models.
2.) 2-5 years of expert level experience with both Excel and MS Access. Experience with Microsoft Suite, including Project and Access.
3.) Bachelor's degree. Must be highly mathematical, statistical, and analytical.

Nice to have skills:
1.) Experience analysing supply chain requirements and modelling is a HUGE PLUS. Experience developing cost analysis & optimizing transportation models is a HUGE PLUS.
2.) Experience with project teams and executing critical projects against a timeline.
3.) Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
4.) Knowledge of Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL is a plus
5.) Ability to multitask in a fast pace environment.
