Description
This is a position with a recognized national consulting firm for an experienced Supply Chain Strategy Consultant with consumer products (CPG) industry experience. Join a world class firm=E2=80=99s Supply Chain Management practice, which is recognized as an industry leader, composed of six practices that span a variety of transformation engagements for their clients: Supply Chain Strategy, Product Life Cycle Management, Supply Chain Planning, Transportation and Logistics, Procurement, and Supply Chain Operations Consulting.

Important qualifier: You must have an excellent understanding of CPG industry issues and operations as well as knowledge of software applications which address best practices solutions. You must have current or prior consulting experience in a Big 4, top-tier and/or recognized boutique/niche consulting firm. You will not qualify you for this opportunity if you only have corporate experience or small consulting firm or single entity consulting experience.

In this Supply Chain consultant role you will work in cross functional teams with executives to analyze supply chain performance, develop plans/business cases and guide implementation of projects that drive competitiveness for your clients. This includes working closely with IT solution architects to identify best fit technology that addresses the needs of your clients.

Must reside be in one of the following cities, (or be willing to self-relocate): Boston, New York City / Northern NJ, Chicago, Atlanta. You can live within a reasonable commuting distance (generally 50 miles) of one of these major airports. Weekday travel is typically three nights away from home with an emphasis on achieving a satisfying work-life balance. Occasional weeks may require four nights.df-tc

Experience/Skills

Must have over 2 years of Top Tier Consulting Experience, i.e. Big 4 or recognized niche consulting firm

MS degree or MBA

Consumer Products (CPG) Supply Chain Strategy development

Must reside be in one of the following cities, (or be willing to self-relocate): Boston, New York City / Northern NJ, Chicago, Atlanta =E2=80=93 weekday travel 80% - 100%
