Description
Robert Half IT Search is representing a client with a need for an experienced and self-motivated Supply Chain Systems Architect . The ideal candidate will manage all Supply Chain Systems including: Supply Chain Planning, Manufacturing, Cost Accounting, Purchasing, Shop Floor, Inbound/Outbound Logistics, Warehousing/Inventory Management, as well as base Accounting systems. You will also manage and participate in implementations of new Supply Chain Systems and enhancements to existing Supply Chain Systems.
  • Analyze business process and workflows to identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Lead efforts to determine data integrity and put in place measures to report inaccurate data.
  • Work with stakeholders to develop training materials and schedules.
  • Document business workflows, detailed business rules, detailed requirements and data needs.
  • Provide maintenance and support to existing production applications.

    Experience/Skills
  • BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline is required.
  • 5-8 years of ERP implementation experience in a Manufacturing environment is required.
  • APICS certification and experience with contemporary trends in manufacturing and supply chain planning are preferred. Specific topics include Just In Time, Kanban, Theory of Constraints, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5-Why.
  • Excellent communication skills and technical aptitude are required.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and contribute to multiple concurrent projects is required.
  • Experience with consumer packaged goods and/or process industry is preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Macola is preferred
