We represent several prestigious firms in the financial, Insurance, Pharmaceuticals and Telecommunications industries. One of our clients is urgently looking for a Support Engineer with experience in Equity trading, market data, order management applications and Business Objects (IS A MUST HAVE) they are looking to fill this position(s) ASAP.

Experience/Skills
Overview:
- Provides effective, professional support for equity traders on the order management application, MFTP (AKA XIP or Merrin) and all equity systems.
- Monitoring the night cycle and ensuring the production environment is stable
- When support activities are under control, a variety of project work can be undertaken in support of the business

Professional Skills:
- Strong customer focus/care skills
- Have a background knowledge of the financial industry
- Familiar with market data such as Bloomberg, Factset, ILX, etc.
- Addressing the production issues in a timely manner
- Good written & oral communication skills
- Administrative skills =C3=A2?? strong attention to detail is required

Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of OMS
- Knowledge of Business Objects (Reporter and/or Designer)
- Knowledge of SQL
- Good knowledge of IT infrastructure, e.g., operating systems, networks, etc.

Professional Skills =C3=A2?? Advantageous
- Knowledge of electronic routing/execution systems ECNs/ATSs)
- Knowledge of FIX protocol

Bachelor's degree in IS/CS or finance preferred.
