Skills-Mandatory-Operating System(s) Strong Unix; specifically in the area of System Administration and tuning(5+ years). Programming Language(s)- No Developers. Database Expertise-Oracle; SQL Query building and SQL scripts(5+ years). Strongly Desired-Other-Leadership Abilities, Strong analytical skills with problem solving, Energetic and eager to influence change, Experience with data communications products at the Application and Presentation layers(3+ Years), Knowledge of Data-Link, Network and Transport layer protocols(3+ Years). Experience with Radius Servers (3+ years). OverviewThis position will report the Event Manager Operations Manager and work with the Event Manager team. The successful candidate will be someone with solid Unix experience with extensive knowledge of writing, verifying and running SQL scripts. The position is very detail orientated and analytical. It also required the candidate to be a go getter and display leadership qualities within the team. Event Manager is a stable application but the candidate should be able to absorb and act upon frequently changing and evolving procedures and business needs within the department. This position will work extensively with billing records from Radius Servers, where attention to detail and accountability are paramount. Must have excellent communication skills and be able to work any issues that need attention within the Event Manager team.
