Manpower Professiona has a great part-time opportunity for a Support Technician II. Position title: Support Technician II Reason for opening: Increasing work volumes specific to the calibration of video monitors for the new PACS system. Accurate calibration of PACS monitors is critical to patient care. Work description: Calibrate video monitors on PC workstations across the SMDC system and in radiologists homes. Hours will be variable and be typically evenings when equipment is not in use. Valid drivers license and personal transportation are required. Prior experience required: Per job description - basic computer technician skills and the ability to work independently. Specific equipment utilized? Monitor calibration software and equipment. Details: -Must be flexible. -Involves coordination and scheduling of diagnostic monitor calibration. -20 - 30 hours per week, some weekend work. -Must be highly professional and well presented. -Will be working in doctor and patient areas. -Always night work with start at 4:30-5pm. -Training will be held for a week or two during the day. -Candidate will also have to be able to go to Radiologist's homes. -This may go full time in the future, and may go direct, but it is not a guaranty. -Need someone who is highly reliable -100 plus diagnostic monitors that need to be calibrated. -Has to be calibrated once a month -Strick confidentiality -Hippa Training will be provided. Prior experience required: -Technical certificates required. MCP, A+. 2 years technical experience. -Must have own vehicle.
