Switch technician for Phoenix, AZ - 5 months - $28/hr W2 - SwitchTech

I have a 5 month opening in Phoenix, AZ for a switch technician paying $28/hr W2. You will be responsible for advanced installation, operation, and maintenance of switching, data communications, and peripheral equipment. You will also coordinate installation, testing, and troubleshooting facilities (OC48, OC12, OC3, T3, T1). Any familiarity with standard protocols and topologies such as SS7, ISUP, IS41 and VoIP is a plus. Basic Unix knowledge is required. You must be able to work evening shift or night shift, and take your turn supporting on-call rotation.

Seeking familiarity with the following types of equipment: Nortel DMS, Lucent SE. Alcatel DACS, Tellabs DACS, CDMA, and iDEN. Must have reliable vehicle and drivers license to drive to different switching locations within a 10 mile radius in the Phoenix, AZ area.
