The following are the requirements:Mandatory Skills Sybase ASE (12.0, 12.5) - 6+ years (3-4 years on thespecific version) Sybase Replication Server (12.1,12.6) - 5+ years (2-3 yearson the specific version) MS SQL Server (2000)- 5+ years (2-3 years on the specificversion) 24x7 Production Support- 5+ years Shell and Perl scripting- 4+ years Supporting skills Installation, Configuration and Maintenance of Very LargeSybase Database environment Installation, Configuration and Maintenance of heavyreplication server environment Database Performance Tuning Database Backup & Recovery Troubleshooting database and other problems Advanced SQL knowledge Working in a HP, Sun and Windows environment Good to Have Skill Sybase Certification Strong oral and written communication skills Working in a team environment Oracle administration Experience: ??Sybase DBA. 5+ years??Strong SQL/ Server Skills (Stored Procedures, Triggers, Tables,Backups, Replication)??Intermediate Data Modeling Skills using Erwin??Understanding of Full Development Life Cycle??Optional: Some Knowledge of Java. This position is in downtown Seattle.

Requirements:

Due to a major system rollout beginning in October the company plans to provide shift work for a period of time in order to support customer base overseas.This is expected to be temporary (3-4 months). The client requires flexibility in the candidate to be able to support the possibility of working a late shift for a period of time during rollout. The normal shift will be 8 - 5 with expected rotation on-call nights and weekend activities.df-tc
