Job Description:
A mechanical systems engineer is responsible for working with and interpreting customer???s requirements, designing and analyzing fuel delivery and actuation systems to meet those requirements, creating the appropriate component specifications, and defining the system validation testing to determine conformance to customer requirements. An entry-level engineer will gain experience and build skills in creating fuel system specifications, fuel distribution components, hydraulic actuation systems, pneumatic systems, and the integration of these mechanical systems with engine control electronics. Successful candidates should have experience in mechanical design and some knowledge of standard design tools and practices. Entry level engineers will team with assigned mentors to accomplish their initial assignments. Typical Educational Requirements:
BA/BS degree w/10+ years experience
MA/MS degree w/7+ years experience
PhD degree w/4+ years experience
Additional job specifications:
Engineer required to support qualification of Gas Turbine Engine Hardware (Fuel Systems, Pneumatic Systems, etc.)
Education - BSME Min
Drug test and background check performed
