POSITION SUMMARY:




Responsible for developing and implementing solutions for core products utilizing requirements to design, develop, implement, and contribute to the development of a product for the deployment of a new release. This includes coordinating the necessary activities to accomplish above project. Facilitate the use and improvement of a software development life cycle.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


. Design and implement software and hardware solutions and enhancements. This will include system configuration and setup utilizing Microsoft and VMware technologies.


* Must be able to independently create designs for product changes.


* Perform product and system set up and testing.


* Compare product behavior to expected behavior. Ensure all components are complete and ready for installation assembly, independent testing, and production.


* Issue logging, tracking, analysis, reporting and management.


* Develop documentation including test plans, installation instructions, internal release notes, and design documents.


* Participate in software development lifecycle for new and existing products.


* Modify and enhance software build utilities including but not limited to Visual Build Pro


MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:


Education/Training:


Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.


Business Experience :


Minimum of 2 years experience in information systems analysis, design, development, testing and/or implementation


Specialized Knowledge/Skills:


* Good understanding and working knowledge of build technologies such as Visual Build Pro


* Good understanding and working knowledge of version control tools


* Good understanding or working knowledge of networking technologies DNS, TCP/IP, WINS, etc


* Must be accountable and responsible for working on Business critical products that operate 24/7/365 and are distributed nationwide to many clients.


* Must have the ability to provide 3rd level support for all products involved with, whenever necessary.


* Working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems.


* Working knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMWare and Microsoft Virtual Server


* Technical writing, system documentation, design document-management skills.


* Demonstrated self-starter, interpersonal skills, creative problem solving skills.


* Strong troubleshooting skills
