Description
Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for a Systems Administration Analyst to join our team in Sanford, NC.

Job Responsibilities:
In this position, you will sit onsite at the client hospital facility and deliver system administration support for one of Perot Systems' largest healthcare clients.

Will be responsible for:
  • Monitor problem ticket work queues and interact with hospital staff to provide progress updates and closure notification
  • Perform installation, modification, testing, backups and servicing on all internal / in house server equipment
  • Monitor and tune systems to achieve optimum performance levels
  • Conducts analysis and prepares reports
  • Create and maintain documentation for all systems
  • Assists in the recommendation for improvements and the development of technical standards associated with hospital servers
  • Work with outside vendors on new installations or to resolve issues
  • Serve in an on-call rotation with defined SLA's

    Required Skills:
  • Requires 2+ years experience and proficiency working Intel operating systems
  • Knowledge of system and program installation, configuration, and system-level security procedures
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft PC applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access)
  • 2+ years experience designing, implementing and maintaining Active Directory Services
  • Ability to prioritize work.
  • Ability to foster positive personal relationships, interact with frustrated end-users, excel in a team environment, and a willingness to learn
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Dependable in both production and attendance

    Desired Skills:
  • Knowledge of standard LAN/WAN communication networks
  • Experience with Cisco products
  • Basic telecom experience (telephone move, add, change) a plus
  • Experience working in a hospital or medical environment
  • Strong preference given to local candidates

    Minimum Educational Requirements:
  • High school diploma
