DeskTop Technician - Groupwise 6.5 and 7.0 Desktop Support 6.5 and 7

Looking for 7 Desktop Engineers

I am a Sr. Technical Recruiter with SmartSource Inc.

SmartSource is a 10 year old IT staffing company that specializes in IT staff augmentation services. Headquartered in the western suburbs of Chicago, offering nationwide coverage SmartSource provides a wide variety of IT resources on a contract, contract to hire, perm placement or project basis.


Brief Description of Assignment: Start Tuesday 1/16 - Friday 1/19 8am-5pm and possibly into the following week.

Our client is moving from Outlook Express v.6 moving to groupwise 6.5 and 7

The client is currently running both GroupWise (Internal Mail) and Outlook Express (Pop for External Mail), so the users are pretty familiar with Groupwise. However, there may be a few questions related to usage of GroupWise from the end user. Tech will also be making sure everything is working (send and receive both internal and external mail on Groupwise). Must know Groupwise on the desktop - to help users.

Written instructions with step by step directions will be provided on how to configure the desktop for groupwise for both internal and external mail and how to remove outlook express.

There are 3 locations: Ellicott City and 2 locations in Columbia 21046. You will be assigned to one of the 3 locations. Client wants to perform a quick phone screen to confirm Groupwise expereince.
