Systems Administrator/ASP Developer

Salary/Rate: 45-50K

Location: Houston, Texas

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

Diploma in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or Business Administration and/or relevant experience, Industry Certifications a plus.

Experience:

Considerable (2+ years) and current experience as an Administrator on a medium sized network of servers, desktop systems and communications devices using current technologies.

Skills:

• Demonstrated knowledge of Windows server 2003, Exchange 2003, Active Directory, ASP, and Sharepoint is a PLUS
  
  
• Demonstrated knowledge of SharePoint Portal Server 2003, Citrix Presentation Server 4.0
  
  
• Demonstrated knowledge of desktop platforms and applications - XP, W2K, Office.
  
  
• Demonstrated working knowledge of NAS/SAN technologies (EMC).
  
  
• Demonstrated ability to administer a 200+ node network including VPN, firewalls and security. (Cisco, HP Procurve)
  
  
• McAfee EPO, Antigen, WSUS, Netbackup & Backup Exec.
  
  
• Ability to manage multiple projects, activities and tasks simultaneously.
  
  
• Facilitation and change management skills.
  
  
• Highly developed verbal and written communications.
  
  
• General Web development skills

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Network administration (including backup, security management, user account management, e-mail systems including e-mail Web server, Internet access, office systems and applications support).

• Supports server, network and desktop hardware, software and applications.
  
  
• STRONG knowledge of ASP
  
  
• Performs technology needs analysis.
  
  
• Rolls out hardware and software to ensure optimal deployment of resources.
  
  
• Plans, implements, and supports the network and computing infrastructure plan.
  
  
• Manages small to medium sized projects according to agreed upon budgets and schedules.
  
  
• Assists with technology planning through ongoing research.

• Sharepoint experience a PLUS!
