Description
The Desktop Support team is responsible for supporting users in their use of PCs, installing new PCs and other peripheral hardware, and installing software on PCs. In Desktop Support, the Systems Administrator role is that of a work supervisor, responsible for completion of all scheduling, delegation, and completion of DPSG work. The Systems Administrator also acts in an onsite role for all other TRPIT functions, including phone support, network support, server support, and scheduling / supporting vendor onsite visits.

Please note this position is located in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
*Provides Desktop support for issues escalated from Help Desk with minimal supervision to provide world class support.
*Builds and installs new PCs.
*Works with minimal supervision to lead local Desktop Support team and directs technical resources as necessary. Communicates with business contacts as necessary with updates on progress and status.
*Installs new hardware and software in the environment as required.
*Coordinates all other local IT functions, including phone support, network support, server support, and scheduling / supporting vendor onsite visits.
*Maintains Knowledge base articles to provide technical direction to other IT resources in Production Services.
*Has local administrative access to all desktop equipment and data in the environment for the purpose of support.
*Has access to sensitive data with proper authorization for the purpose of problem resolution.

QUALIFICATIONS
*High school diploma or GED
*4 years of desktop support experiencedf-tc
