Description
System Administrators provide support for corporate applications, operating systems, desktop workstations, laptops, personal digital assistants, networks, printers, telecom, and desk-side servers. As such, they must be proficient at configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting systems in each of these areas. Advanced customer service and interpersonal skills are also a must. Certifications in desktop operating systems and networking are preferred. The person should have between zero and seven years of systems support (or relevant IS&T) experience and, ideally, a degree from an accredited academic institution.
