Job Description:
Our Client is currently seeking a Systems Administrator to support both the corporate and production environments.

Essential functions include, but are not limited to:
Plan, develop, install, configure, maintain, support and optimize all servers, network appliances and communications links.
Analyze and resolve end user software program and connectivity issues in a timely and accurate fashion.
Provide user training where required.
Maintain/update system/network documentation.
Perform backups of corporate and production systems.
Perform user account maintenance.
Ensure that virus protection software is up-to-date, and eradicate any viruses infecting staff computers.
Perform routine desktop/laptop troubleshooting.
Attend and actively participate in weekly meetings.
Provide support for computer needs for all new hires.

Requirements:
1-3 years experience in Windows, Linux and Solaris Systems Administration.
Knowledge and experience with Cisco hardware and Frame Relay.
Knowledge and experience with Windows, RedHat Linux and Solaris Operating Systems.
Knowledge and experience with network software installation.
Knowledge and experience with hardware installation and upgrade.
Ability to teach and train about network use and software skills.
Knowledge and experience with email (various clients, server-side, etc).
Familiar with the uses of computer technology, including the ability to use and adapt older equipment.
Ability and desire to learn new skills quickly.
Effectively communicate issues and resolutions to all levels of the organization.
Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive customer and internal information.

Education:
Bachelors degree in computer science or information systems or equivalent.
