Our client is an entrepreneurial financial software and services company with a long-term track record serving banks, corporations and financial institutions, is seeking a System Administrator to maintain and support the company’s systems operations.

Experience/Skills
Primary responsibilities include: - System administration of Solaris, HP-UX, and Windows servers - Configure, install and troubleshoot Windows workstations - Security and User administration - Support ASP clients - System performance monitoring - System backup and restores - Maintain mail server - Maintain DNS server - Planning and administration for disaster recovery - LAN & WAN network administration and performance monitoring - Installation and configuration of Cisco IOS devices - Administration of Cisco PIX firewall Required Qualifications: - BS level education minimum - 3-5 years experience in configuring and administering HPUX and/or Sun Solaris systems. - Clear communication skills. - The ability to configure, install and troubleshoot Windows workstations & servers. Additional desired skills or knowledge: - Linux administration - CISCO networking administration - J2EE / JEE administration - Unix Shell scripting - Database administration knowledge
