Description
Our client, a local IT-support firm is looking for a Systems Administrator for a contract to hire position. Responsibilities for this Systems Administrator position include servicing computers, networks, servers, and Internet connections in small to medium businesses, and troubleshooting hardware at a component level and be able to locate and backup data on a variety of standard applications. Qualifications for this Systems Administrator position include strong customer and phone support skills, systems knowledge (Windows, everything desktop, servers, wireless technology, printers, scanners, and networking/routers switches), and a good working knowledge of PC hardware and software including an in-depth knowledge of DOS through Windows XP. Additionally, Systems Administrators need to be comfortable with reinstallation of Windows versions 95 through XP, have a familiarity with standard "tech-related" software (i.e. Ghost, Hijackthis, etc.), as well as have Spyware/Virus removal experience. Also, candidates must have experience with wired/wireless routers, a working knowledge of TCP/IP networking and experience with Microsoft Server 2000/2003, and have a reliable vehicle and current automotive insurance will be required for this position.

Requirements for this Systems Administrator position include advanced Windows Server 2003, intermediate LAN, intermediate WAN, and advanced PC Desktop/Workstation. Additionally, Systems Administrators must have advanced Windows XP 2003, advanced Windows XP, intermediate Windows NT Workstation (3.51/4.0), intermediate Windows 2000 Professional, and intermediate Windows 95/98/Me.
