FOR IMMEDIATE CONSIDERATION CONTACT JEFF GOTTLIEB @ (310) 209-6838 OR JEFF.GOTTLIEB@RHT.COMThe Technology Administrator should have the knowledge and experience which enables him or her to focus on the following projects immediately, to be ready for the new school year in September 2008:Learn the new network and process for adds/moves/changes; train usersInstall and standardize, both internally and visually, all Administrative desktops and laptops (PCs), and all Academic (faculty and student) desktops and laptops (Macs), onto the networkCreate a campus data backup plan and document cycles and offsite storageConfigure network and non-network printersLearn SonicWall firewall (and Content Filtering if desired)Identify antivirus that will work best for Park Century and install server and client software on all computersLearn Aruba wireless configuration processLearn campus Audio Visual requirements, and set minimum standards for classroom Audio Visual systemsLearn the new phone system and process for adds/moves/changes; train usersAssess useful life of the IBM serverBe ready to administer and troubleshoot all of the above on a day-to-day basis, and train users as necessary, by September 2008 or shortly thereafterThe Technology Administrator should have the knowledge and experience which enables him or her to successfully undertake the following projects over the 2008-09 school year and beyond:Research educational audio visual technology hardware and applications (or those developed for business which can be adapted for school use), and advise and work with Academic Administrators on selection, implementation and trainingReview current web site and work with Academic Administrators, Faculty and the Director of Development on implementing educational applications and other improvementsReview current on-line school calendar, and recommend improvements or alternative optionsReview existing administrative databases and business process to identify technology-based opportunities for improvementCreate a campus disaster recovery plandf-tc

Experience/Skills
Must be proficient with both Mac and PC and comfortable in a mixed environment.Must be able to help train end users, students and teachers on the latest technologies.Must understand security, backup, Active Directory, disaster recovery.
