Job Description


Our client is seeking a member of the IT team, supporting the office infrastructure, a heterogeneous environment of Windows, Mac, and Linux workstations and servers. Additionally, support will include VOIP and PBX system, security systems, network equipment and additional systems and software. This role will combine both server and end-user support. This position will work directly with other members of the infrastructure team on long term projects and production systems.

Requirements:
* BA/BS in Computer Science preferred
* 4+ years work experience
* Heavy experience with Windows Server 2003/2008 administration
* Strong Active Directory skills
* Windows XP and Vista skills
* DNS expertise
* Basic experience with Linux Systems Administration
* Familiarity with OS X
* Expertise in at least one Scripting language
* Understanding of IP and Networking fundamentals
* Understanding of data storage concepts and backup/disaster recovery
* Good communication and documentation skills
* Great attention to detail and the ability to learn new things
* Be able to work as part of a team and individually
* Flexibility to be on call and occasionally work after hours or over a weekend
* Must be able to start immediately

Bonus:
* Experience with Cisco hardware
* Good understanding of firewalls, HA configurations and monitoring
* Familiarity with VMWare server and desktop
* Experience maintaining an Asterisk VoIP system
* Web application experience
* Experience with databases: MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL
