Description
Birmingham, Alabama company has an opening for a Systems Analyst. Responsibilities will include working with Business Analysts and other senior developers to develop and enhance COBOL, DB2 and some CICS application programs. This professional should demonstrate a customer service orientation, strong work ethic and superior communication skills with a positive attitude. Knowledge of Agency processes or payment of agent compensation is a plus, solid DB2 skills are required.

A successful candidate will have 8 + years programming experience in COBOL, DB2 and SQL. CICS experience a plus. A high level of analytical skills sufficient to solve technical problems are required. Must be able to conduct research; provide interpretation and create resolution of assignments; be able to manage multiple changing priorities; resolve conflicts; and be able to work well to meet deadlines. Additionally, the abilities to self-manage and work without constant direction are paramount to success in this role.

IBM ProFacts environment, no sponsorships, no H1-B visa, must be currently using DB2 or no more than 6 months old.
