Systems Analyst - Business Intelligence

Key Responsibilities:
This individual will be responsible for gathering and documenting business requirements and developing Business Analytics solutions. The individual will be responsible for translating business requirements into technical designs and specifications. The individual will design, develop, test, implement and document Business Intelligence solutions using Oracle, Hyperion, WebFocus, and Java. The individual will be responsible for coordinating and managing efforts with a specific emphasis on Business Intelligence. The individual will use structured project management methodologies and practices consistent with the project management office. The individual will be a hands on contributor with specific expertise in GUI design and the presentation layer. The individual will be required to be a self-starter that can work independently under the direction of the team leader of the IT Business Analytics area. The individual will also maintain application systems and will serve as one of the primary points of contact to provide user assistance and support.

Key Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree - Computer Science, MIS, Engineering
7-10 years experience in Business Intelligence. Solid system development methodologies and project management experience. Thorough knowledge of data warehousing concepts and practical use. Specific knowledge working with relational databases, star schema reporting and OLAP. Strong SQL and Javascript skills. Hyperion or WebFocus knowledge a plus. Proficient skills in GUI design and presentation tools. Experience working with business users gathering and documenting requirements. Strong organizational skills. Excellent communications skills (both written and verbal). Excellent interpersonal skills and experience in dealing with business users providing solutions with a customer service focus. Other experience would include; PC skills (Microsoft Office), a commitment to thorough testing practices, and a history of producing quality products.df-tc
