Description
A large manufacturer of consumer goods has retained our services to locate them a Senior Systems Analyst at their corporate headquarters in Orange County.
In this role you will work with management, Information Services and/or business users in identifying solutions to defined business needs. Provide system design and architecture recommendations based on applicable business, systems and industry requirements. Participate in and/or leads efforts to develop and execute testing, training, and documentation for projects.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience with system design and architecture.

Maintain a high degree of program integrity & quality at all times.

Ability to be flexible to the rapidly changing needs of the department and company.

Ability to train fellow programmer analysts.

Task and time management skills.

Excellent problem determination skills.

Must be a self-starter with quick ramp up time.

Must be very dependable and require minimum supervision.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.


REQUIREMENTS:

Must possess a minimum of five (5) years experience with the IBM iSeries (AS/400), RPG/400, ILE, CL and Java.

Background in developing retail and/or distribution systems preferred.

Knowledge in Island Pacific, MMS, PKMS and/or Lawson preferred.

Bachelor*s Degree in Computer Science, degree or certificate from a computer trade school, or equivalent work experience.


COMPENSATION:

Exceptional salary of $85,000 to $105,000 and benefits to include casual dress and free access to a full gym.
