Systems Analyst - Mainframe

• Analyze programs and data in the Mainframe system (RIMS) that has direct and indirect impact to required changes
• Document changes and impact as required using supplied templates; provide draft to technical stakeholders for review
• Provide system and architecture impact analysis as result of operating system upgrade
• Modify programs per requirements and/or testing results
• Design and define required test data to validate modified programs
• Test modified programs and report results to the project team and to Quality Assurance (QA)
• Document and track any defects and issues as the result of the program modifications
• Work well both independently and as a member of a team.
• Support QA through the testing and validation of assigned programs

Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

• 10+ years in IBM Mainframe (z/OS, COBOL, JCL, IMS, DB2, CICS, Easytrieve Panvalet, Roscoe) analysis, design and development
• Updating existing technical specifications; or develop, as needed, new technical specifications
• Test case development and execution experience
• Strong troubleshooting (debugging) and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
