We are currently seeking to fill a Systems Analyst/Programmer position for our client in Evanston, IL. We invite you to review the position requirements below and apply today if your skills match our need.

Salary: $72,000/year

Overview:
The Systems Analyst Programmer aids in application development and support of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions and other related systems. The developer must be experienced in application software development with strong business analysis and PeopleSoft technical skills.

Principle Accountabilities:
- Retrofitting custom objects for PeopleSoft Campus Solution when applying PeopleSoft upgrades and fixes;
- Designing, programming and implementing new application processes for PeopleSoft Campus Solution and other related systems;
- Developing requirements and specifications requisite to the development or procurement of application systems;
- Maintaining the integrity of systems through problem prevention, detection and resolution techniques;
- Preparing or supplying documentation and training to effect knowledgeable use of application systems;
- Analyzing and modifying established PeopleSoft processes to maintain effectiveness related to functional requirements and changing hardware software environments;
- Performing other related duties as required or assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience from which comparable skills can be acquired;
- A minimum of two years' experience in a PeopleSoft Campus Solution Student Administration and PeopleTools development environment;
- Experience using a systematic approach for problem analysis and resolution as well as the resourceful evaluation of solution alternatives;
- Ability to effectively present ideas verbally and in writing;
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with a broad cross-section of the community; - Required technical skills include PeopleTools, Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Process Scheduler, Component Interface, Oracle, UNIX, SQL and SQR.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as an application software developer with strong business analysis and technical skills;
- Experience with relational database (Oracle preferred);
- PeopleSoft Enterprise portal and PeopleSoft enterprise applications required, Unix, JAVA, and HTML preferred.
