1. Standard Engineer II (Financial Systems-R)

Job Description
The incumbent will be responsible for designing and developing server and handheld applications. The incumbent must have expert skills in Visual Studio, Windows XP/2000,SQL,Wintel server based applications. The candidate experience in developing Palm handheld devices is a plus. The candidate will also have 5 years experience in Visual Basic, strong business and communications skills.

Specifications/Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of Visual Basic experience
  • PDA Development preferred but not necessary
  • Life 70 and Insurance Administration experience preferred but not required
  • Expert skills in Visual Studio (VB Net), SQL and Wintel Server based applications.
  • Ability to work closely with users and other IT teams to coordinate activities
  • Ability to develop technical specifications
  • Ability to perform project management functions
  • Ability to develop and coordinate test plans and software documentation
  • Knowledge and experience with TSO, Interest, Microsoft Office Suite, JAVA and HTML is a plus.
  • Must adhere to the company policies and procedures
