Description
Immediate need for Systems Analyst with a large wireless telecommunications company. Requires a demonstrated working knowledge of Windows 2000, Windows XP, Active Directory, network systems such as TCP/IP, and the ability to interwork the computing platforms for file sharing, document retention and document recovery, using software tools and applications approved. Must have a working knowledge of the Microsoft suite of office software products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Exchange). Must be customer focused and operate with a sense of urgency in responding to user needs and requests. Must have valid California drivers license. Team player with a do- what-it-takes attitude. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of and experience with the 10-Base Ethernet Local Area Networks and TCP/IP protocols is desired. A bachelor's degree in computer science or a technical discipline is also desired. Knowledge and experience with Wireless LAN is also desired.This position is responsible for the various activities associated with the development and/or support of infrastructure components according to specifications that meet the needs of the enterprise. The scope includes working directly with client application developers on gathering and refining technical requirements and design. The Systems Analyst is challenged with enhancing their understanding of infrastructure components, expanding the base of platforms they can program to and support and striving to advance to the Senior Systems Analyst position. Activities for this position include infrastructure component research, analysis, design, coding, development of test plans, documentation, testing and creation/coordination of release instructions. Other responsibilities may include participation in design and code walk-thrus and continued training.
