Description
Our customer is looking for a Systems Analyst to focus on support from our Manteca corporate office and support multiple remote locations throughout California and Utah. The candidate will be directly responsible for the support of our hardware and software including user administration, including printing, installation, word processing, electronic mail, and operating systems. The position will require traveling to multiple branches and availability for on site support. Answer questions or resolve computer problems for clients in person, via telephone or from a remote location. The ability to provide assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software. Install and perform repairs to hardware, software, and peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications.Oversee the daily performance of computer systems.Document hardware and software inventory lists in written form. Merge data from one workstation to another workstation for hardware upgrades.Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cable, operating systems, and appropriate software.Maintain record of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial action taken, and installation activities. Workstation support includes: Windows authentication (logging on and off), Microsoft Office support, and Citrix client administration.Internal wiring using a punch down tool is occasionally a requirement of the IT department. Tech SupportPrinting support includes installing, replacing and troubleshooting errors.Train users on proper file storage and basic PC maintenance, tune-ups, and procedures.Assist workers engaged in problem-solving, monitoring, and installing data communication equipment and software via remote connection and/or in person. Answer users' inquiries regarding computer software such as, Microsoft software and hardware operation to resolve problems.Enter command prompt commands and observe system functioning to verify correct operations and detect errors.Maintain and update intranet with Help Desk FAQ’s. Train and instruct user on proper files storage and basic PC maintenance, tune-ups and procedures.Read technical manuals, confer with users, and conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems and to provide technical assistance and support.Provide Toshiba phone system support such as, deleting and adding voicemail, changing passwords, and answering phone related questions.
