Description
Our client is looking for two systems analysts to start immedidately. They will be working on Mediation sustainment and They'll be in an off hour shift rotation, probably every five or six weeks. The Mediation group takes data from the switches and then formats it primarily for billing purposes and this team monitors these jobs, does troubleshooting and resolution. Experience/Skills
intermediate-advanced UNIX System Admin skills
SQL basics
telephony exp. i.e - CDR's, dealing with various vendor's software (OMP, SDM, AP)
pseudo PM experience
MS Office Basics (Word, Excel, Outlook,..)
understanding of Tier I / II / III level support
problem analysis skills
problem escalation experience
basic unix scripting and editing
must be open to ambiguity
basic network trouble shooting skills
ability to manage & report your time efficiently
ability to prioritize & focus on projects, but multi-task'ing is a must as well
on-call & shift rotation experience, which includes a 12 hr/day shift rotation on nights
