We have a Systems Development Specialist opening in our Little Falls or Secaucus ACS office:

A beginning to intermediate-level professional, the Systems Development Specialist will work on fairly complex assignments (and/or portions of larger, complex systems) and perform a full range of development activities. This person will work under tight deadlines and must be capable of handling heavy workloads with minimal supervision.


Job responsibilities include:
Compose personalized communication pieces using proprietary software
Merge pieces with transactional data to create output that is sent to the employees of the client
Provide occasional functional guidance to lesser experienced staff

Develop and support on-time delivery of customized DC/DB participant statements for DC/DB administrative clients by interfacing with internal DC/DB admin. teams and clients.

Conduct data analysis and data manipulation to ensure that client/internal source data meets project specifications.

Perform basic calculations to achieve desired project outcomes.

Develop, maintain and manipulate flat data files using required tools.

Develop DC/DB participant statements using document design composition software.

Perform quality assurance testing of all aspects of design, development, and delivery of personalized communications with a focus on DC/DB participant statements using electronic and manual means as necessary.


We are looking with candidates that possess:

Bachelor's Degree with a proven academic track record

Up to 2 years of related experience

Good verbal and written communication skills as well as good listening skills

MS Office software proficiency (knowledge of Excel & Access a plus)

Good organizational and analytical skills

Preferred but not Required:
1+ year of experience with JCL
Knowledge of mainframe operating system OS/390
Word/Excel - experience with mail merge
Knowledge of engineering/automation concepts, practices and proceduresdf-tc
