Description
Support MEADS program Lead Requirements Engineer with Trade Studies, Risk Management and Requirements Documentation (including specifications) and analyses. All work is to be conducted in accordance with LM Command Media and Best Practices in accordance with company policies and procedures. Will work under the direct supervision Senior Systems Engineering Managers and Leads. A desire to acquire a solid understanding of the requirements flow down process is an important attribute. Some travel will be required, to include international travel. WEB site development skills are desired as is advanced mathmatics proficiencies. Due to the international nature of the program, cross cultural team skills are extremely important and language proficiency in German or Italian would be strong plus. Some travel (perhaps international) is required.



The MEADS BMC4I contract letter has been received the program's period of performance is through 2012.

General Position Description
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Typical Minimum Education
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. Entry level.
