Description
Our client is establishing a team to develop the next generation air defense system for DOD. This is a ground floor opportunity to join a state of the art technical organization. We are seeking a Systems Enginer/Design and Analysis to develop system level requirements for survelliance and combat systems. Will anlayze and allocate requirements and perform modeling and anlysis of complex systems, develop improved algorithms and provide technical direction to design agents. Responsibilities will also include to plan, coordinate and provide technical leadship for taks supporting development capture and implementation of system-level requiremnts for Naval and Joint forces combat and survelliance systesm. Also will analyze top-level system requiremnts and develop flow-down of functional perfomance and integration requirements and construct mathematical models, perfom computer assisted analysis of performance and system interactions. Some travel involved. Requires BS in technical degree (EE or Physics) and ability to visualize and anlayze complex systems. Should have 5+ years background in at least one of the following systems: radar system, control systems, digital filtering, signal processing, stohastic processing or system idenitification. Prefer MS degree and 7 -10 years in system definition, requirements specification, system design and analysis for Surface Navy Combat Systems and distributed computing environment with knowledge of Kalman filters, multiple hypothesis tracking, Matlab, C++ and Unix.
