JOB DESCRIPTION
Systems Engineer
Direct hire position with Benefits
Located in Indianapolis, IN

The Systems Engineer is responsible for working with both Product Management and Product Development to ensure that the product design fulfills the product requirements. The Systems Engineer is a key architect of the overall system, especially in the area of security. The Systems Engineer will also be responsible for the assembling the product specifications and is relied upon by the development teams to understand the end-to-end functionality of the system.

The Systems Engineer will also be responsible for selecting and managing headend equipment needed to validate the product development.

Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering is mandatory.

A minimum of 6 years in any engineering discipline, with at least 2 year in a lead role.

Required Skills:

Ability to understand customer requirements and translate them to product requirements
Software development in a language such as C, C++ or Java
Knowledge of System On Chip (SOC) architectures
Strong background in security concepts
Strong skills in writing and documentation of software, system design, and security.
