Description
You will be responsible for the Administration of the Web Server from an applications standpoint. Before the Software is installed you will be working on the capacity planning, configuration of the systems, work with the application developers, tune the applications to make sure that they are going to work, make sure that there is enough space on the systems, etc.

You will do the Administration of the WebServer - IIS, iPlanet, Apache
Must have solid experience with Application Server Software - BEA WebLogic (WebSphere is ok), BroadVision, TomCat

You will be installing the Software doing the configuration of it, performance tuning. You will not be doing actual development or programmer, but would be programming stuff for routine tasks or for the deployment of an application.

Experience/Skills
3+ years of experience with Application Server Software such as: Web Logic / WebLogic, BroadVision, WebSphere

3+ years of experience working with and have done Web Administration of the WebServer such as IIS, iPlanet, Apache

Monitoring and tuning J2ee and J2SE application Server Software

Strong knowledge of the following Operating Systems: UNIX, Windows, and HP-UX, Sun Solaris

Have strong Project management skills

Excellent communication skills to work with users at all levels

Other desired skills:
