Description
This position requires an individual with a strong customer and business-development focus who can convey engineering systems ideas in an easily-understood way. Candidate should also have an understanding of the organizations that support and benefit from Sonora, and should have contacts and experience in the Sonora community. Experience with special product derivatives are a definite plus. The candidate must be very good at oral and written communication as well as chartmanship, and handle topics well in a question-and-answer setting. Candidate will be subject to a government investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain access to classified information.



General Position Description
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Typical Minimum Education
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level.
