Description
Experience in the design and implementation of Enterprise Class Unix Servers housing Oracle Databases and COTS based middleware components.

System experience in HP-UX implementations including Service Guard.



Structured Requirements analysis, system modeling experience, and design experience in

government contracting environments.



Ability to generate design documentation, implementation and transition plans, create proposals, generate Standard Operating Procedures and develop contract deliverable documents.



Management of small technical teams desirable (3-4).

General Position Description
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Typical Minimum Education
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level.
