Description
Air Traffic Control experience (Minimum 5 yrs required). Detailed knowledge of today's Air Traffic Control System.

Extensive HOST project, NAS, PAMRI, EDARC, URET, or DSR experience either working with the FAA or as an independent consultant. Experience must be hands-on as a designer, programmer, integrator or tester (minimum 5 years required).

Good communication and interpersonal skills (required).

Knowledge of site testing of Air Traffic Control Systems (minimum 5 years required).

Knowledge of designing test programs to meet A level requirements for large scale software intensive systems in areas of performance, failure recovery, stability (minimum 5 years required).

Knowledge of laboratory configurations at WJHTC (minimum 5 years required).

Experience preparing success criteria, test plans & procedures for formal A level testing (required).

Experience in lab test integration and execution for large scale system tests (e.g performance, failure recovery, stability) (required).





General Position Description
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Typical Minimum Education
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered an emerging authority.
