We are currently seeking a Systems Engineer - to support our Demo Technical Services group located in Atlanta, Georgia. Ideal candidates should have the following skills and come from commercial software and high-technology companies. We seek self-starters who work well in high-pressure environments.

Primary Responsibilities of Position:
Under the general direction of the Manager, Demo Technical Services, assists various teams and individuals with the planning, coordination, development, configuration, and support of product demonstrations.

Provides help desk technical support to the Clinical Domain on demo system issues in the areas of hardware, software applications and database configuration. Documents help desk inquiries and resolutions in the issues tracking system.

Participates in interdepartmental planning, coordination, and management of the distribution of demo systems to the field, training of demo teams, and demonstration events.

Assures business continuity of the systems and services for which assigned in a user-centric, economically effective and efficient manner.

Keeps current with a diverse and rapidly changing suite of the company?s sales-demo and prototype systems which may include third-party products.

Executes demo certification test scripts. Uses these scripts and other methods, as applicable, to certify that the demo systems are ?Demo Worthy?.

Designs and develops demo support collaterals, which includes training materials, architectural diagrams, system specifications, test procedures, user guides, etc. Keeps documentation current.

Designs, develops and conducts training for using the demo systems.

Participates in planning and implementation of methods and means to track and report performance indicators of services for which is responsible.

Tracks and reports on status of projects and performance indicators. Performs other management tracking and reporting as applicable.

Performs various database administration support including distribution to the field, installation, testing, and training.

Occasional travel for an average of 3 to 5 days at a time, sometimes over a weekend, in support of demo events, training or tradeshows.

On-call rotation duties as a member of the Technical Support Help Desk staff.df-tc

Experience/skills required
Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, presentation, planning, and project management skills.

Demonstrable track record of excellence in documentation and development of collaterals.

Demonstrable track record of working effectively and pleasantly as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.

Multi-tasking, self-starter who performs very well under stress and rapid change of requirements and circumstances, and high level of interruption.

Effective team leader who generates respect of others through excellence and creativity in accomplishing own and the group?s objectives.

Excellent organization, planning, communication and presentation skills.

1-3 years Clinical background/experience a plus.

SCM/SunriseXA experience a plus.
