Our customers are the world?s leading service providers, network equipment manufacturers and enterprises.

We are seeking a Systems Engineer for 3G Wireless Monitoring Solution integration and customer support, based in the NY/NJ area or in a virtual office in the USA

The individual will be responsible for working with customers and peers to resolve product performance and integration issues during initial field deployment and subsequent support. This exciting position requires a high level of technical knowledge to execute support and integration tasks that will encompass a variety of our clinet's solutions. All work in this fast moving position is associated with the latest 3G technologies deployed on complex networks that will challenge your skills!

You will need to demonstrated track record of 6-8 years experience in Customer Support or troubleshooting experience in the telecommunications industry. Candidates should have Engineering Degree or equivalent work experience.

Additional requirements:

Sound knowledge, understanding and experience in Data Communications, at all layers such as:
Physical ? Ethernet, WAN, ATM
Transport ? IP(TCP/UDP), ATM, PPP etc.
Experience in working under the following environments
Windows
Unix/Solaris
Experience with Oracle and storage systems is an advantage
Knowledge, understanding and experience in 3G Wireless core Network, including -
GPRS
UMTS
CDMA 2000
Knowledge and experience with VoIP Technology is an advantage
H.323, SIP, MGCP/MEGACO, POC
Gateways, Softswitch
PSTN
Programming experience in TCL or other is an advantage
General:
Travel to customer site at 60% of the time
Strong Technical Orientation
Candidates must demonstrate excellent customer relations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience in using network test equipment
Possesses and must be able to work well and maintain composure in stressful situations
Demonstrate Drive and Commitment.
Must be independent and reliabledf-tc
