May perform one or more of the following:

A senior-level professional, the Infrastructure Systems Engineer is a fully qualified individual contributor ensuring both internal and client focused systems are designed, implemented and managed for maximum customer satisfaction and cost efficient performance. Incumbents are competent to work on complex assignments (including large/complex systems) and perform a full range of system engineering activities. The incumbent generally works under deadlines and is capable of handling heavy workloads, operating with limited supervision. Provides functional guidance to less experienced staff. Provides functional and technical expertise to formulate system scopes and objectives, develops and/or modifies procedures to solve problems using information systems. Prepares detailed documentation for operations, performs multiple software functions and supports hardware platforms. Assignments are in technical and business functional areas.

Education and Typical Years of Experience:

Individuals applying for this position should be highly organized, detail oriented, and possess an ability to manage multiple priorities and assignments.

5+ years experience in related fields

Must be a strong self starter, and be able to take ownership of an area and work with minimal supervision.

Certifications preferred include: MCSE, ITIL

Specifics:

This position will be integral in strategic planning initiatives to ensure a scalable environment to support projected business requirements.
Strong candidate will have the following skills:
Windows Server Operating Systems, advanced working knowledge of Active Directory (GPO, DNS, WINS, OU, etc.)
Advanced experience designing and implementing virtualization (VMWare) and clustering solutions
Design, Implementation, and Support of Systems and Application Architecture
Experience with Third Party Application Integration
Citrix technology (preferably experience with Access Gateway)
Experience with networking is required
Experience working in an enterprise class, multi-site data center environment requiring high-availability
Experience with scripting languages is required
Strong writing and documentation skills.
Service Support, including Change, Configuration and Release Management (ITIL)
