Description
PEROT SYSTEMS CORPORATION is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. It is currently looking for a Systems Integration Specialist to join our team in Palo Alto, CA.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Works with the Enterprise Reporting Team Lead and Project Manager to determine business requirements for reporting

  • Defines Clarity extract and load parameters

  • Maintains knowledge of the Epicenter data model and Oracle-based Clarity data model

  • Performs Clarity extracts and loads in support of project requirements

  • Create and maintain regular status reports to immediate Team Leader

  • Develop, support and maintain documentation and procedures as needed, provide training to other IT staff and user clients as appropriate

  • Attends weekly team meetings to discuss team and project related activities, issues, change, communications, and updates

  • Provides Epic product function, design, and build expertise (obtains certification) and experience needed for successful product implementation

  • Completes specific team task activities as documented on the Work Plan

  • Supports all project team members with application and information systems knowledge

  • Provides expertise and experience to the development of activation plans, application activation tasks, and production environment readiness

  • Logs, tracks, and resolves issues as well as any software code modifications or enhancements

  • Logs, tracks, analyzes, and coordinates system changes including any software code implementations



    • Required Skills:
  • Share Point Portal Server 2003 or 2007

  • Experience creating and consuming Web Services, XML and heavy SQL Server development

  • Versed in UI development (UI design, Web Forms, JavaScript, DHTML/HTML, XML/XSLT/XSLT) and/or business logic development using industry-standard tool

  • Solid understanding of N-tier architecture

  • Object oriented analysis and design

  • Experience using VisualStudio.NET, Visual Source Safe and other development tools

  • Experience with UML and Use Case development

  • Skilled in Microsoft Office productivity software including MS Project and MS Visio

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Exposure to custom development process and procedure

  • Experience with web applications, web portal and/or web integration development

  • Basic to intermediate project management skills


    • Desired Skills:
  • PMP certification a plus

  • Epic exposure a plus

  • Experience with J2EE a plus

  • Visual Studio 2005 a plus

  • Identity Management and Integration experience (SOA, Web Services, WSDL) a plus

  • Training on Chronicles applications preferred

  • Epic implementation experience highly desirable


    • Minimum Educational Requirements:
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information management or Healthcare related field

  • Experience in-lieu of education acceptable
