PEROT SYSTEMS CORPORATION is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. It is currently looking for a SYSTEMS INTEGRATION SPECIALIST to join our team in PLANO, TX.
Job Responsibilities:
Designs and develops total systems solutions to the enterprise-wide systems problems of customers. These solutions deal with the major business processes used to manage the overall enterprise. The task requires integrating hardware, software, and the customer. Systems integrators participate with the customer in the strategic design process and translate business needs into technical systems solutions. They are responsible for the technical correctness and completeness of integrated systems designs.

Typically, the Specialist level applies wide application of theories, concepts, and principles in identifying customer needs and designing supporting systems. Performs complex issue analysis and is often in lead role within major project. Designs total systems’ solutions for smaller organizations or for segment of large organization, typically using third-party hardware and software. Provides significant support in areas such as research and feasibility studies, tradeoff analyses, operation studies, design reviews, and technical briefings. Provides highly technical software advice for major accounts and complex systems. Makes decisions on operating procedures and analytical approaches. Creates software needed to implement recommended solution within given parameters. Technical expertise is utilized in areas such as marketing, business acquisition, and client support. Other typical working titles include: Infrastructure Modeler; Configuration Manager; Systems Administrator. Typical Duties
  • Works in collaborative effort with other Associates through design and implementation phases of total systems’ solutions. Provides individual or project lead support for complex multi-system installations or large systems installations with complex software, business and management considerations.
  • Designs quality control and test procedures to ensure deliverables meet established design and performance goals. Develops information technology architecture and total systems solutions. Produces supporting documentation for use by customer and Perot Systems’ technical staff.
  • Ensures design proposals meet customer needs and monitors implementation for technical correctness. Reviews integrated systems design proposals for technical content. Establishes cost and time estimates for implementation. Identifies, analyzes, and evaluates alternative design solution.
  • Provides software consulting services to customers, including identifying needs, developing, influencing, and implementing proposals. This involves developing customer support plans for complex systems and major accounts.

    • Healthcare industry experience

    • Developing and/or consuming .net Web Services

    • Relational Database Design/Modeling


    Minimum Educational Requirements:

    • BS in Computer Technology or equivalent experience.
