Description
Seeking a Systems Network Administrator w/PCI DSS Security experience for a small Northeast Ohio organization experiencing continued growth in providing manage services, content management systems, on-line payment portals, regulation portals and Web hosting services for Healthcare, Physician Groups, Medical Associations, Banking, and Financial Industries as well as, State Government, City Government and other related Government agencies. Individuals that work well and excel within this organization are those who prefer to wear many hats and exceed goals and expectations within a high tech/fast pace environment.

Qualifications for this System and Network Administrator Position with PCI DSS Security includes the following:

Bachelors degree (Computer Science or Electrical Engineering) required
- or equivalent education and experience to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.

Minimum of 1 to 2 years experience in PCI DSS security compliance including standards, controls, testing, certification, and audits, in addition to the following:
- Implementation of PCI-DSS and Compliance projects within a 24/7 controlled environment with stringent uptime requirements and mission-critical network implementation.
- Keeping current with industry standards including PCI-DSS security standards, best practices, implementing changes and participating in annual PCI audits in presentation of controls, systems, policies and best practices.
- Credit card payment portals; on-line payment processing, e-payment processing;
- Regulation Portals, Content Management Systems and WEB Portals;
- Implementing of Server Security and Controls;
- Workstation FIREWALLS/SECURITY & Controls;
- Knowledgeable of Managed Services/Managing Hosting Services;
- Minimum two (2) years experience in Supervision and development of Network staff which includes managing three or more direct reports.

Minimum 3 to 4 years general overall experience in network functions within a Network Operations Center (NOC) or internal support environment or Managed Services environment requiring the following skills and experience:
- CISCO & Foundry/Brocade switches/networks; CISCO Routers;WAN/LAN; Clustering; TCP/IP; Firewalls; SNMP; VPNs; Packet capture and decoding; VLANs, Routing protocols, including OSPF and BGP, DNS, IDS Systems; Switches (Cisco and Foundry Networks); Routers (Cisco); Load Balancing (Foundry Networks), Ping Utility, Trace Route; Sniffer Software; Firewalls (Cisco ASA):
- Manage vendor relationships regarding WAN and VPN connectivity, product support, availability and functionality. Troubleshoot and repair issues with internal and external network, including switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, servers, etc.
- Test configurations before deploying production for Wide Area Network/Local Area Network (WAN/LAN) routing and the logical structure of the network for VLAN security.
- Windows 2000; Windows 2003; Active Directory; Antivirus software; Security Software; IIS, Cabling & Cable Management, WAN/LAN, routing and the logical structure of the network for VLAN security.
- Review vendor proposals for bids on hardware and software; Assist in selection of switching, routing, security, and other equipment; Maintain, monitor, and back up configuration on network equipment.
- Conduct research and product evaluations for new technical products.
- Manage VPN connectivity with vendors in both production and corporate environments
- Provide sales staff with necessary information required for proposal responses.


Minimum 4 to 5 general overall experience in systems networks, security and controls with responsibility for 24/7 uptime of critical systems within a stringent uptime and controlled environment implementing mission-critical network projects. Proven experience keeping up with up with industry standards, security standards, best practices; implement necessary changes and participate in annual security audit in presentation of controls, systems, policies and best practices with responsibilities for the following:
- Experience in backup software and services such as CommVault and LiveVault.
- Expert experience in Systems and Network Administration, Intrusion Detection Software and security practices.
- Experience in a 24x7, mission-critical data center environment with stringent uptime requirements and controlled change processes and mission-critical network implementation projects including knowledge of security compliance.
- Significant experience with planning and design of networks and security.
- Design, planning and architecture of the production and corporate network, including determination of areas for improvement, evaluation of solutions, implementation and planning; implementation and post-implementation support and evaluation.
- Manage on-call staff which supports production systems 24x7 to respond to system notifications and troubleshoot accordingly.
- Responsible for the maintenance, configuration and monitoring of production and corporate network.
- Respond to system incidents in a timely and urgent manner. Design and plan all network systems to provide redundancy and ensure optimal uptime and stability.
