CIBER is looking for 4 System Operations Specialists. Under minimal supervision, the System Operations Specialist will monitor and perform error detection, problem determination and troubleshooting for complex database applications and production systems in 24X7 work environment. Will perform problem notification, generate trouble tickets for events, maintain accurate work logs, and is aware of all changes during their shift. Candidate will perform Tier 2 & 3 troubleshooting of problems and executes standard operational procedures to recover a problem as soon as possible.

Experience/Skills
*3-5 years data center/network operations server support & UNIX System Administration experience.
*Able to perform operational duties; test equipment; server & desktop operating systems, applications & peripherals, & enterprise management.
*Unix/Window NT-based internet server applications & Enterprise Software
*Ability to trouble-shoot, install software & knowledge of computer networks.
*Help desk, production support, job scheduling, backup/recovery, Remedy & Veritas experience

Other desired skills:
